For TÜBİTAK BİLGEM at the 2022 Samsun TEKNOFEST, we conducted a comprehensive project designed to create an unforgettable connection between the institution and visitors. To showcase the institution’s scientific expertise and technological vision to festival participants through a science communication perspective, we developed the entire concept design, digital content, and interactive applications for the booth area.

At the booth, we designed unique experiences reflecting the high technologies developed by BİLGEM. With our digital mapping application called “BİLGEM Universe,” children colored BİLGEM-specific characters and watched them come to life on a giant screen. In the “Smile with the Pioneers” experience, we developed special software that allowed visitors to take photos with 3D models of scientists. The “BİLGEM Through Questions” application introduced the institution’s work through a gamified test, and promotional products designed and produced specifically for these games were offered to participants as prizes.

As Usturlab, we managed all project processes, from concept design to production and on-site installation, with a turnkey approach. With our expert instructors and technical team, we provided full service, managed visitor flow, and ensured the uninterrupted operation of all applications. This comprehensive service enabled TÜBİTAK BİLGEM to stand out as one of the most eye-catching stands at TEKNOFEST.
