We managed all organizational and production processes of the project to renew the Turkish Addiction Prevention Education Program (TBM) in collaboration with Yeşilay Society, one of Turkey’s leading civil society organizations. The first phase of this large and important project focused on establishing the scientific backbone. For eight months, working in coordination with 30 leading academics in Turkey, we completed the editorial and design processes of 12 academic resource books in six different areas of addiction.

In the second phase of the project, which lasted more than a year, a team of 94 people transformed these 12 academic works into tangible materials for five different age groups (preschool, primary school, secondary school, high school, and adults). In this context, we designed all content in accordance with the formats of the Ministry of National Education (MEB). We prepared practitioner guidebooks, student workbooks, 10 different illustrated storybooks, 3 board games, and 2 card games for each age group. We supported this universe with 2D/3D animation films with original scenarios and 5 specially composed children’s songs.

This program was implemented at the national level through a protocol signed between Yeşilay and the Ministry of National Education. All the content we developed is currently being actively implemented throughout Turkey by 3,000 trainers, whose training we also contributed to.
