In this 1,000-square-meter museum located within the Kartal Esentepe Public Garden, we have transformed the science of geology into a 360-degree experience. The architectural concept of the space was designed with inspiration from “local and universal natural formations”; the exhibition area was structured around amorphous forms and the rhythm of nature itself.
We designed the museum’s curatorial narrative as a journey where the visitor “feels like a part of the story.” This experience, built around five main themes, begins with “Earth,” continues with “Time” and “Transformation,” and concludes with the sections “Trace” and “Breath.”
The exhibition approach goes beyond classical presentations. In addition to mineral and rock collections, the museum includes interactive digital and mechanical installations, planned for the first time in Turkey. The entire design presents geology as an interactive experience appealing to all ages.
