PARDUS EXPERIENCE AREA

For TÜBİTAK BİLGEM, we developed an interactive experience area to introduce PARDUS, Turkey’s domestic operating system, to festival participants. Our main goal was to transform the abstract world of an operating system into a high-energy, gamified “task” scenario where children could physically participate. To this end, we designed a multi-station experience explaining PARDUS’s core capabilities.

The experience began with participants choosing their avatars and receiving special task cards. Within the area, the “Test Module” station introduced participants to the domestic operating system. The “Connection Terminal” experience showed children how to build basic electrical circuits and manage energy flow. The “Control Panel” concretely demonstrated PARDUS’s processing power and efficiency through reflex games mechanics.

Participants who successfully completed all stations on their task cards were entitled to receive PARDUS certificates and special badges. As Usturlab, we undertook all project processes for this experience area, from concept design and production to installation and field management throughout the festival. Through this project, more than 2,000 children left the area having personally been introduced to the concept of a domestic operating system.
