Organized by TÜBİTAK in 2022 in Konya, Antalya, Erzurum, and Van, the Observation Festivals brought together thousands of science enthusiasts. In this large-scale, multi-location event, we participated under the umbrella of TÜBİTAK BİLGEM with an interactive, astronomy-themed experience focused on science communication.

At these festivals, we connected with participants through our digital mapping application called ‘You Are the Universe.’ This station hosted over 10,000 participants, allowing them to color astronomy-themed drawings (planets, spacecraft, etc.) and witness their designs come to life on a giant screen.

As Usturlab, in addition to creating the project content, we undertook the technical setup and operational management of the ‘You Are the Universe’ experience area in four different locations (Konya, Antalya, Erzurum, Van) with a turnkey approach. We ensured the uninterrupted and complete execution of the project throughout the festival.
