We have organised our forest explore program in the summer camps organised by the Kocaeli municipality. We hosted forest explorers tours for more than 2,500 middle and high school students in kocaeli municipality camps during the months of April and July.
The young people who spent time in touch with nature during their camp experiences gained a new perspective with our forest explorers. Students participating in forest explorers tours took scientific nature walks accompanied by expert trainers; they learnt about plants, trees, animals and nature patterns by observing, asking and touching; they recorded what they learnt in their nature diaries. in addition, they learnt how human intellectual activities such as science and art are enriched with inspiration from nature through interactive nature games.
