As Usturlab we organised summer school for 8-14 years old children. In 2017, 2018, and 2019. During the summer school, we introduced the children to astronomy, art, drama, fundamentals of science, robotics and coding, production design, mind games, and ethics workshops.
For three years, we had more than 200 workshops and reached more than 500 children. Our program did offer a unique holiday opportunity! The children, who had the pleasure of producing with various materials, had the opportunity to reflect themselves from a different perspective in the drama workshops. Accompanying the world of stars in astronomy workshops, the children met with the basics of coding and discovered their own potential, inspired by the works of Van Gogh and Matrakçı Nasuh. In addition to all these, they made discoveries in the museums and forests of Istanbul.
